As a Video Editor at USA Today, I converted footage journalists captured in the field into compelling content for their website, YouTube, and organic socials. My responsibilities were multifaceted, as I also developed all SEO and copy for my projects, developing a skill in eye-catching headlines while maintaining trust and honesty with my audiences. During my tenure, I also wrote, animated, and edited USA Today's first ever cartoon video stories, explaining complex and sensitive concepts that were otherwise challenging to convert into video.
